California has termites. If you live in California, you're going to get termites. It's inevitable. It doesn't mean you're a bad person, it means you have tasty wood for their babies.
This morning a fumigation truck pulled up in front of John's house across the street. John — not my brother — is the owner of the house, and just sold it. But termites showed up in the report, so he had to take care of it. Solution? Fumigation.
I set up a Canon snapshot digital camera on a tripod looking at the house from an upstairs window. The camera was set to shoot at 30sec intervals, and was assembled as a movie in Quicktime as an Image Sequence at 6 frames per second.
The nice fellows at Kennedy Pest Control allowed me to phoon* in front of it as they worked. Watch carefully.
*My brother John Darrow is the inventor of the term "phoon" as it applies to a specific "running man" pose seen in photos worldwide, and often submitted to his enormous image gallery at www.phoons.com. John is also the younger brother of Dave the Painting Guy.
